And if you are planning to make some money with your websites using advertising programs like Google adsense, then you definitely need to know even more ways to draw traffic to your website. There are many ways out there and one of the most effective way to make more people read your blog posts is using Facebook. Facebook is connecting almost the entire world (over-statement) . But you can definitely bring Facebook users to your website.

There are many blogging platforms available out there and one of the most stable and easy platform is Wordpress. So if you are using WordPress for your Website or blog, I am going to show how to Share your Posts with Facebook users using the Facebook Like Button. I am sure you are aware of the Facebook Like button which helps users to share the content they like with their friends on Facebook.

Here is the code you will need to share your WordPress blog post.

<iframe src="http://www.facebook.com/plugins/like.php?href=<?php echo urlencode(get_permalink($post->ID)); ?>&amp;layout=standard&amp;show_faces=false&amp;width=450&amp;action=like&amp;colorscheme=light" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowTransparency="true" style="border:none; overflow:hidden; width:450px; height:25px"></iframe>

You Just need to copy the above code and Paste it in the single.php file.  Let us see how to do it.

Step 1.  Login to your WordPress Website using your admin login

Step 2: On your Dashboard  goto Appearance Tab and Click on Editor that should bring up the Theme Editor

Step 3: Select the File Single Post (single.php) to edit

Step 4: Now Paste the above code below <div id="content"> tag. You can also try pasting the code anywhere within the Post Loop as you like. Just try pasting it in different places and see how it shows on your post.

Note: It’s a good idea to take a backup of the single.php file before you play around with it.

That’s it you are done. You should have the Like button on your every post and ready to be shared on Facebook.

Expect some good traffic to your website.
